In Lesson 12, you will learn about the basic INTERNAL parts of a computer (terminology and function). You will also complete an activity to match the parts of the computer to what they are called and what they are used for.

Vocabulary:

External: Parts found on the outside of the computer.
Internal: Parts found on the inside of a computer.
Central Processing Unit (CPU): The brain of the computer that works out the instructions that it receives.
Motherboard: Connects different parts of the computer together.
Power Supply: Provides power/electricity to the computer.
Memory: Stores information and data on the computer.
